Jeremy Brabant
Jeremy was admitted in 1998, and has been a barrister sole specialising in Resource Management since 2004. He appears on behalf of individuals, companies and interest groups in the Environment Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, and before Boards of Inquiry. In addition Jeremy has appeared in a large number of Court assisted mediations and Council Hearings, and is regularly instructed at the design and planning stage of development projects to provide strategic advice and assist with identification of a suitable consultant team.
Jeremy's regular clients include developers, large corporates and national and regional sporting associations. He appears in both the North Island and South Island. Jeremy's experience covers a wide range of Resource Management and Local Government matters, including plan changes, applications for declaration, advising companies and individuals regarding notices of requirement, resource consent applications (including greenfields development, subdivision and redevelopment of existing sites) and disputes regarding development contributions.
Outside of work, Jeremy has 3 young daughters keeping him busy - and he is keen on golf, skiing and mountain biking (when time permits...).
